Transportation Supervisor - Full-Time

About the role

Oversee daily delivery operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage labor and supply costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Organize vehicle repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Review productivity metrics and suggest process improvements.
• Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
• Coordinate with sales, safety, and other departments to align operations.
• Address and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain positive associate relations and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Handle staffing needs, performance management, and disciplinary actions as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience in operations, logistics, or delivery supervision.
• Certifications such as defensive driving or HazMat are advantageous.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
