Transportation Supervisor - Full Time

Role Overview: This position oversees delivery operations, supervising delivery staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations such as DOT and OSHA. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily work, safety, and adherence to standard procedures among delivery associates.Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate record-keeping.Control labor hours and supplies within budget, prepare work schedules, and oversee asset utilization.Coordinate repairs, review productivity reports, and suggest efficiency improvements.Enforce company policies, communicate with management and customers, and address delivery issues.Visit customer sites, maintain associate relations, and monitor morale.Collaborate with safety teams for training, investigations, and safety inspections.Handle staff management tasks including hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.Perform related duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.1-3 years related experience; valid Class A CDL and HazMat certification preferred.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to interpret policies.Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects; capable of working in diverse environments.
