About the role

We are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team in our Corporate Headquarters office in downtown Milwaukee. This role offers opportunities to work on exciting, high-profile projects and to contribute to improving the quality of life for communities.

Responsibilities

  • Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
  • The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
  • Project engineering and management.
  • Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
  • Professional society involvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Additional experience is encouraged.
  • Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
  • PE license in WI.
  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university.
  • Pass the PE exam.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
