Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a Transportation Engineer for our Chicago O'Hare office. This role offers opportunities to design a variety of transportation and site engineering projects, serving as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.

• Hands-on involvement in the design process and project advancement
• Serving as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
• Design opportunities include: Highway and Roadway Plans, Specifications and Estimates, Sewer Plans, Specifications and Estimates, Project Permitting, Project Reports
• Mentor Junior Engineers
• Professional society involvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
• Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards
• PE license in IL
• Good communication skills and interaction with clients and internal team members
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads
• Modeling with OpenRoads is desired
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D software is a plus
