About the role
The Novant Health Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a cellular therapy physician with experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation and CART cell therapy.
Responsibilities
- Perform hematopoietic cell transplantation and CART cell therapy
- Work within a team of seven physician providers and 12 advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Participate in a 1:4 rounding and call schedule with APPs taking 1st call
- Benefit from excellent support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, intensive care, and other specialist services
- Operate independently for patient care including rounding and call coverage
- Support for the development of a State-of-the-Art outpatient Cellular Therapy and Apheresis Unit in Winston-Salem
- Opportunity to participate in clinical research and CME programs
Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology. New graduates or those with 1 to 2 years post-fellowship experience will be considered.
Qualifications
- Subspecialist interest in leukemia and myelodysplasia preferred
- Excellent support from the pathology department, blood bank, radiology, intensive care, and other specialist services
- Opportunity for clinical research and CME programs
