About the role

Loma Linda University Health, Division of Transplant/Cell Therapy (TCT) seeks to recruit faculty positions at open rank (Assistant/Associate/Professor) as Physician-Scientists, including leadership opportunities. The division is actively involved in multiple solid organ transplants and offers collaborative opportunities in transplant immunology and regenerative medicine for both adults and children.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct research in collaboration with established scientists
  • Translate laboratory research into clinical applications
  • Collaborate on hematological disease research as per candidate preference
  • Teach graduate students, research and clinical fellows, residents, and mid-level providers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of novel cell-based and immune therapies

Requirements

  • MD (or foreign equivalent)
  • Completion of fellowships in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, TCT fellowship (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Medical Oncology board eligible or certified
  • Completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology, TCT fellowship (or equivalent experience), and Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, or Immunology board eligible or certified

  • Strong academic and research background
  • Experience in laboratory translational research
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

$150,000 – $400,000, adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank
