Transplant/Cell Therapy - Peds BMT - Clinical Investigator
About the role
Loma Linda University Health (Loma Linda University Cancer Center, Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group), Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy (TCT)/Hematological Malignancies seeks to recruit faculty positions at open rank (Assistant/Associate/Professor) as clinical investigators, including leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct clinical trials, focusing on novel therapies for hematological malignancies including novel agents, small molecules inhibitors, immune therapies (CAR-T, cell-based therapies, MoAbs, vaccines, and gene therapy).
- Implement autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation for both malignant and non-malignant diseases.
- Collaborate with established basic and translational scientists at Loma Linda University.
- Teach and oversee residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during ambulatory and inpatient activities.
- Utilize the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, dedicated clinic space and infusion centers, inpatient unit, a new cGMP and TCT laboratory, FACT accredited TCT program in pediatric autologous and allogeneic BMT and immune effector cell therapy, fully characterized tumor samples repository, and new state-of-the-art Children Hospital building.
Requirements
- MD (or equivalent) degree.
- Completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.
- TCT fellowship (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology board eligibility or certification.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical and research background.
- Experience in developing and implementing novel therapies for hematological malignancies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent teaching and mentorship skills.

Pay
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $200,000 - $500,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
