Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute multiple engineering projects while coordinating design efforts across disciplines.
  • Deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Manage project execution, quality, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop electrical and instrumentation design documents and drawings.
  • Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination analyses.
  • Prepare cost estimates, material takeoffs, technical reports, and project proposals.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction documentation.
  • Review contracts, project requirements, and staffing needs.
  • Provide technical guidance, quality reviews, and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Identify project risks and communicate solutions proactively.
  • Support clients, vendors, and field personnel with technical expertise.
  • Travel as required for project and business needs.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering required.
  • PE license required.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with utility transmission and distribution projects; protection and control experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and utility systems.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and power system modeling software such as ETAP, EasyPower, SKM, CYMCAP, or PLS-CADD.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

Pay

$130,000 - $190,000 per year
