Transactions BD & Marketing Director

About the Role

This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business issues clients face and market dynamics
• Develop and execute go-to-market plans aligned with the Transactions strategy
• Manage client-centric, data-driven integrated marketing and business development campaigns
• Plan and execute high-impact events, conferences, and sponsorships
• Oversee the development of tailored pitches, RFP responses, and marketing materials
• Support the onboarding and integration of key laterals and their client bases
• Manage marketing budgets and track ROI of initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field required
• 10+ years of experience in marketing/business development in a professional services environment
• Prior experience in a large law firm environment (as a practicing lawyer or in a senior marketing/BD role) is highly beneficial
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of the business environment in key industry sectors relevant to transactional practices

Compensation

$218,438 – $353,889 annually
