Trainee Paralegal – Post Completion
About the Role
You’ll manage a varied and engaging caseload of commercial property matters, advising a wide range of clients including SMEs, developers, investors, and occupiers. Your work will span a broad spectrum of property transactions, including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Commercial leases (acting for both landlords and tenants)
- Property finance and secured lending
- Development projects and site assembly
- Landlord and tenant matters and general estate management
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm and play an active role in maintaining and developing long-standing client relationships.
Requirements
We’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX), with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ PQE in commercial property
- Strong technical skills and the ability to manage files with autonomy
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- A commercial, pragmatic approach to legal advice
- Confidence in building rapport and contributing to business development
- A collaborative, flexible mindset and a proactive work ethic
Trainee Paralegal – Post Completion
Responsibilities
- Assist with post-completion conveyancing matters, including Land Registry applications and registrations
- Prepare and submit applications to HM Land Registry
- Review title documents and requisitions, assisting with responses where required
- Ensure completion documents are accurately filed, maintained, and updated
- Draft legal documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office
- Organise and maintain case files, documents, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
- Manage correspondence via Microsoft Outlook, liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties
- Support the legal team with administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and document management
- Conduct basic legal and procedural research when required
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, confidentially, and in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements

- Previous experience in administration or customer service
- Familiarity with conveyancing processes or HM Land Registry procedures
- Experience using case management systems
- Basic understanding of legal terminology and legal research tools

Pay
£24,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
