About the role

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Little Rock office.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal, preferably in a large law firm setting
• Experience in litigation support and case management
• Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage multiple cases, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience drafting and organizing discovery – both written discovery and document production
• Experience preparing for and assisting at trial
• Familiarity with the State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedures
• Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable litigation support software
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and technical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and all other professional staff
• Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, performing factual and legal research, reviewing, and analyzing documents, and supporting preparations for hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery
• Research, organize, and summarize records as needed to assist in data gathering, including organizing information and documents in databases
• Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses
• Assist in trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors, and live trial support
• Other duties as assigned
