Tier 3 Program Specialist (High School Science)
About the role
Milton Town School District seeks an individual to support high school students. The position requires at least two years of experience delivering structured instruction or remediation intervention programs, focusing on students with significant academic challenges.
Responsibilities
- Focus instructional efforts on students needing significant academic support.
- Ensure students receive exposure to core content skills and have adequate time to remediate missing or weak skills.
- Demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training from a district special educator or Speech-Language Pathologist.
Requirements
- At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to focus on student needs and provide targeted instruction. Formal training from a district special educator or Speech-Language Pathologist is also required.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
