Tier 3 Program Specialist (High School Science)
About the role
Milton Town School District seeks an individual to support high school students. The position requires at least two years of experience delivering structured instruction or remediation intervention programs, focusing on students with significant academic challenges.
Responsibilities
- Focus instructional efforts on students needing academic support.
- Ensure students receive exposure to core content skills and have adequate time to remediate missing or weak skills.
- Demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training from a district special educator or Speech-Language Pathologist.
Requirements
- At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience delivering strategically structured instruction and/or remediation intervention programs in small groups or based on individual-level needs.
- Must be able to focus instructional efforts on the needs of students experiencing significant academic problems.
- Ensures students receive exposure to core content skills and have adequate time to remediate missing or weak skills.
- Demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training from a district special educator or Speech-Language Pathologist.
