About the Role
Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting by managing daily operations, including scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, assessing their physical, mental, and emotional needs to facilitate recovery and celebrate progress. Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations to ensure seamless treatment implementation and foster a compassionate, personalized approach to patient care. Utilize advanced technology within a supportive environment, promoting professional growth and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily therapy team operations
- Deliver direct patient care and build relationships
- Support patient rehabilitation goals and celebrate victories
- Coordinate with staff and hospital departments
Requirements
- Current state licensure or certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in therapy
- Minimum of three years’ experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years clinical experience
- CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- Therapy Clinical Ladder participation or specialty certifications
