Occupational Therapy Team Leader

About the Role

Lead and coordinate an inpatient occupational therapy team, supporting daily operations, scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, assessing physical, mental, and emotional needs to facilitate recovery and celebrate patient progress. Foster a collaborative, compassionate environment focused on personalized treatment and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with team management and workflow.
• Deliver patient-centered therapy, building strong relationships to support rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure seamless implementation of procedures and treatments.
• Support team training, orientation, and communication efforts.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification in occupational therapy.
• CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program.
• At least three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, including two years of clinical practice.
• Professional certifications or Therapy Clinical Ladder eligibility preferred.
