Therapist - In Training

About the role

Full-time Therapist In Training position on an outpatient mental health team, primarily delivering individual therapy services under clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based individual counseling
• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with treatment and recovery teams
• Engage with community partners to coordinate care
• Participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology)
• Practicum or field placement experience in a clinical setting
• Eligibility for an “In Training” license in Wisconsin

Preferred

• Active Wisconsin professional license
• Experience serving justice-involved populations
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
