Therapeutic Counselor

Role: Provides counseling and therapeutic services to individuals and families, addressing issues such as depression, addiction, stress, and self-esteem. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. Responsibilities Conducts assessments of mental status, personality, and family dynamics.Delivers individual and family psychotherapy tailored to client needs.Facilitates counseling groups and participates in treatment planning.Collaborates with staff, families, and insurance providers on treatment progress.Completes documentation including service summaries, billing, and reports timely and accurately.Attends training, supervision, and team meetings; ensures confidentiality and compliance standards.Provides supervision and activities for program participants as needed.Participates in crisis intervention teams and performs other duties as required. Qualifications Master's degree in a human services field.Two years of relevant experience.LICENSESW or similar licensure required (e.g., LICSW). Skills & Requirements Strong assessment and counseling skills.Ability to work with diverse populations and collaborate with teams.Physical ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force.
