Therapeutic Counselor

We are seeking a licensed counselor to provide individual and family therapy in a community-based setting. Responsibilities include: conducting mental health assessments, offering counseling for issues such as depression, addiction, stress, and self-esteem, facilitating group therapy, participating in treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team, and documenting progress and billing accurately. Qualifications: a Master’s degree in a human services field, at least two years of experience, and LICSW or similar licensure. Skills: strong assessment, counseling, and communication abilities, with proficiency in crisis intervention. Additional requirements: physical capability for medium work (up to 50 pounds exertion). Note: no supervisory responsibilities. The role emphasizes adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and collaboration with staff, families, and insurance providers to support clients' growth and independence.
