Therapeutic Counselor

Provides counseling to individuals and families using various therapeutic approaches to address issues such as depression, addiction, stress, and self-esteem. Performs assessments on mental status, personality, and behavioral responses. Delivers individual counseling, family psychotherapy, and facilitates group sessions. Participates in treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team and collaborates with staff, families, and insurance providers regarding treatment progress. Completes documentation including service summaries, billing, and evaluation reports while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to accreditation standards. Provides supervision and activities for program participants and actively participates in crisis intervention.
