About the role
Benjamin Moore & Co is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to join our sales team. You will be accountable for delivering sustainable and profitable sales and market share growth in the greater Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington territory. This role involves leading the implementation of product placement, programs, and services within assigned stores. The successful candidate must reside within 30 miles of Portland, Oregon and be located in close proximity to one of our key retailers in the territory.

Responsibilities
- Focus on customer satisfaction by demonstrating teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service.
- Establish yourself as the "go-to" expert for customers by combining technical knowledge, business acumen, and a thoughtful customer approach.
- Develop and cultivate relationships for new business and existing accounts to increase profitability and sales growth for both Benjamin Moore and our partners.
- Drive, orchestrate, and close opportunities with key partners, producing transformative business outcomes.
- Leverage professional solution-based selling skills to meet customer needs while utilizing provided selling tools.
- Seek and qualify new business in accordance with Company account stratification goals.
- Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet demands.
Requirements

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.
- 1+ years of field sales experience; college degree preferred (previous paint experience not required).
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Willingness and ability to travel daily and overnight within the region, and work evenings/weekends when necessary.
- Must reside within the greater Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington territory.

Pay
Salary range: USD $72,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 per year. Every role is eligible for a performance-based annual raise and bonus. Regular pay audits ensure fair and equitable compensation based on skills, qualifications, experience, job location, and other relevant factors.
