Territory Representative
Territory Overview
SI-BONE is a fast-growing, publicly traded medical device company dedicated to minimally invasive sacropelvic solutions. The Territory Representative will focus on the Washington DC area.
General Responsibilities
- Reports to the hiring Regional Sales Director and manages a specified territory.
- Ensures achievement of company goals through leadership and performance.
- Identifies, targets, and trains surgeons for iFuse case performance.
- Markseters to all clinician groups within the patient referral network to raise awareness and support educational activities.
- Meets goals and sales quotas as communicated by the Territory Manager and Sales Management.
- Provides technical assistance and covers cases in the operating room as needed on a regional basis.
- Absolutely adheres to honesty, ethics, and legal compliance, reporting any suspected violations.
Specific Responsibilities
- Builds rapport and strong working relationships with surgeon customers and employees.
- Achieves and exceeds quota consistently under the guidance of the Territory Manager and Sales Management.
- Establishes and manages referral channel networks; utilizes marketing information, high prescriber lists, and other leads to identify interested physicians and patients.
- Collaborates with sales management to identify, execute, and support educational activities within the territory.
- Communicates effectively and openly with the Territory Manager and Sales Management Team as required.
- Manages implant shelf life and instrument sets provided; returns damaged or expired product to SI-BONE, Inc.
- Supports the SI-Bone Quality System.
Expertise
- Currently or recently served in a sales position in a high-growth, medical device or pharmaceutical organization, preferably in orthopedics or pain management.
- Experience in leadership roles for at least 3 years.
- Strong relationships with local physician groups, including primary care, pain management, orthopedic, and neurosurgery.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Results-oriented and customer-focused.
- Demonstrated adaptability and initiative.
- Proactive problem-solving and solution identification.
- High integrity, sound character, and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge and familiarity with applicable regulations/standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or equivalent discipline.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is specific to the location and is in good faith what SI-BONE expects to pay for the position, considering various factors such as job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, certifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. Supplemental pay includes stock.
