Role Responsibilities
- Promote new business opportunities from within designated geographic areas of responsibility and strategic accounts.
- Servicing existing business opportunities from within designated geographic areas of responsibility and strategic accounts.
- Aid in the development of spares and servicing business in the designated geographic areas of responsibility and strategic accounts.
- Collect and interpret information from customers to produce a well-engineered and accurately costed solution according to client specific needs.
- Present solutions to clients.
- Select and preliminarily design dust extraction solutions.
- Keep abreast with company product developments and their areas of opportunity.
- Achieve/exceed sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Follow up and closure of all business opportunities.
- Production of business opportunities and follow up reports.
- Maintain business opportunity recording and filing systems.
- Reseller development.
- Development into niche markets identified with new and existing customers.
- Maintain CRM records of sales activities.
Qualifications
- Engineering qualification / Mechanical or Process degree.
- At least 5 years or more experience in a technical sales role, preferably in dust extraction.
- Previous experience in markets such as Mining, Metal Fabrication, Food & Bev, Agriculture, Pharma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven external sales track record.
- Commercial sales knowledge.
- Confident and determined approach.
- Self-motivated and driven, able to perform under pressure environment.
- The ability to work in a team.
