About the role

The Terminal Manager Railcar Repair oversees the maintenance and repair of railcars at a major transportation hub. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of railcar mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure all railcars are in safe working condition.
• Manage a team of repair technicians and coordinate their work schedules.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues related to railcar maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in railcar maintenance and repair.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team.
• Knowledge of railcar mechanics and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

$80,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
