About the role

The Terminal Manager Railcar Repair oversees the maintenance and repair of railcars at a major transportation hub. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of railcar mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure all railcars are in safe working condition.
• Manage a team of repair technicians to meet production targets.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in railcar maintenance and repair.
• Proven leadership experience in a managerial capacity.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
