Railcar Repairman

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing railcars to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain railcars according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on railcars.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of related experience in railcar maintenance.
• Knowledge of railcar systems and components.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in railcar repair techniques.
• Experience with railcar diagnostic equipment.
• Good physical fitness for manual labor.
