About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing railcars to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain railcars according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on railcars to prevent breakdowns.
- Work with other maintenance staff to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of related experience in railcar maintenance or similar field.
- Knowledge of railcar systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
Skills
- Knowledge of railcar systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.

Pay
$XX.XX per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
