Temporary Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)
About the role
Registered Respiratory Therapists play a vital role within the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans that promote optimal health or comfort. Using scientific evidence and compassion, they assist patients throughout their health journey, taking responsibility and accountability for delivering care in accordance with policies and procedures. This role involves temporary assignments to a single unit for a designated period based on system needs. RRTs must possess the necessary skills, competency, and qualifications, and be capable of working across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience
- Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state
