Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) to join the Respiratory Care - Adult department.

Responsibilities

• Act as a patient advocate and prioritize care based on patient needs
• Administer and evaluate respiratory therapies
• Perform patient transfers
• Provide routine and advanced respiratory care, including ABGs, bronchial hygiene, and ventilator management
• Handle critical situations such as code blue and airway management with independence and adherence to standards
• Document care accurately and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state
