Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care, perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Collaborate with healthcare teams, verify orders, promote safety, and support staff and student development. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, with all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP. Minimum of 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building with healthcare professionals, computer proficiency, and excellent assessment and customer service skills.
