About the role
Provides safe, continuous quality patient care across multiple facilities within a market, working in 5 or more locations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs and administer respiratory therapies.
- Perform patient transfers and transports.
- Conduct routine and advanced respiratory procedures, including ABGs, bronchial hygiene, ventilator management, airway management, and blood gas analysis.
- Act as a patient advocate, incorporating education into care plans.
- Prioritize duties based on patient acuity.
- Demonstrate independence, adherence to standards, and readiness to handle critical care situations and emergent cases.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Current RCP licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- New graduates must obtain RRT credential within 12 months of hire.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care and critical care procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
