Temporary | Banquet Server

About the role

Three Leaf Catering, part of the University of Notre Dame’s Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division, is seeking on-call/temporary Banquet Servers to support events at Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn. The UOES division oversees event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, contributing to student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and major campus celebrations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and tear down of banquet events.
• Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server.
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department.
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service.
• Serve food, pour beverages, and handle guest requests in accordance with University service standards.
• Follow established guidelines for safe food handling.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events.
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods (up to 6 hours at a time).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Pay

$17.50/hr + gratuity
