TECHNICIAN-FACILITY MAINTENANC

SUMMARY/SCOPE/GOAL

Ensure the orderly and efficient daily operation of the facility plant. Perform maintenance work orders and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance work. Coordinate maintenance efforts between custodial and administrative personnel and any contractor/vendor related activities. Maintain the plant to provide a safe, secure, and healthful environment for all occupants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Required: High School diploma or equivalent required. Five (5) years’ combined experience in two or more major facility maintenance trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or roofing).
• PREFERRED/DESIRED: Journeyman level experience in at least one trade preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING

• REQUIRED: Valid Florida Driver’s license.
