Maintence Technician

Major Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance duties related to the hospital grounds, i.e. testing and repair of sprinkler system, clean-up of driveways and entrances, etc.
• Capable of performing basic maintenance work in the areas of filter change outs, plumbing, electrical, medical gas, HVAC, and painting with minimal supervision.
• Employs basic trouble shooting skills in order to isolate systems and equipment when problems exist to warrant such action.
• Affords assistance to Unlicensed and Licensed Engineer positions in repair and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fire Card.
• 1 - 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a hospital or hotel setting (preferred).
• Vocational/Technical School Training (preferred).
