Summary Of Facilities Technician Position

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
• Foster a team-oriented atmosphere with a positive attitude.
• Follow AAR Composites Safety Procedures and Safety Accountabilities.
• Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving while upholding ethical standards.
• Participate in ISO, AS 9100, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing concepts.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum two years in general maintenance of a manufacturing facility.
• Skills: Mechanical and electrical skills, including the ability to read basic electrical schematics (excluding servo motor control). Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge. Understanding of basic mechanical physics and PLC systems. Forklift Training/Certification is required.

Education and Experience Required

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Forklift Operator License is mandatory.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, mechanical physics, and PLC knowledge.
• Two years of experience in manufacturing facility maintenance.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility.
• Work is conducted in a warehouse setting, requiring adaptability to a traditional industrial environment.
