Summary Of Facilities Technician Position
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
- Foster a team-oriented atmosphere with a positive attitude.
- Follow AAR Composites Safety Procedures and Safety Accountabilities.
- Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving while upholding ethical standards.
- Participate in ISO, AS 9100, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to lean manufacturing concepts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum two years in general maintenance of a manufacturing facility.
- Skills: Mechanical and electrical skills, including the ability to read basic electrical schematics (excluding servo motor control). Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge. Understanding of basic mechanical physics and PLC systems. Forklift Training/Certification is required.

Education and Experience Required

- Certifications: Forklift Operator License is mandatory.
Skills and Experience Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, mechanical physics, and PLC knowledge.
- Two years of experience in manufacturing facility maintenance.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility.
- Work is conducted in a warehouse setting, requiring adaptability to a traditional industrial environment.
