Technical Writer (Mechanic)
About the role
Are you a skilled technician ready to step away from the physical demands of the job—but not ready to leave your technical expertise behind? If you're mechanically inclined, technically savvy, and enjoy solving problems, we want to hear from you. We're looking for experienced professionals who understand how machines work and can use that knowledge to create clear, accurate technical instructions for a wide variety of products and customers.
The hands-on experience you've spent years developing is exactly what we're looking for. Don't worry if you've never created technical documentation before—we can teach you the software and writing tools. What we can't teach overnight is the practical knowledge and mechanical understanding you've built throughout your career. If you're ready to keep using your brain instead of wearing out your body, this could be the perfect next step. Bring your experience, curiosity, and willingness to learn, and we'll provide the training you need to build a rewarding career in technical writing.
