Technical Writer IV
Pay: $62–67/hour (W2). After a qualification period, consultants receive health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.
About the role
Remote position with no onsite expectations; must be available during PST working hours. W2 candidates only.
Join a collaborative team of developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to improve the usability of a SAAS application. As a writer, you’ll craft clear user-interface text, online help, developer guides, videos, tutorials, and other user-assistance materials. Ideal candidates are self-directed, passionate about technology, and understand how their work contributes to the product’s success.
Responsibilities
- Create and update documentation for a SAAS App Store.
- Develop, write, edit, and format technical materials, including manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and business-process documentation.
- Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical writing experience for a technical audience.
- Ability to interpret code (development experience not required).
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience with AI tools.
- Senior-level expertise, including self-directed research, collaboration with teams and stakeholders, and strong written/verbal communication.
- Experience with software app stores (as a team member or developer) is a plus.
