About the role
As a Technical Writer, you will translate complex cybersecurity and technical concepts into clear policies, standards, procedures, and documentation that our clients and their auditors can rely on. You will help clients build a culture of documented, audit-ready operational excellence across their security and technology programs.
Responsibilities
- Create cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Document operational runbooks and engineering processes
- Support ISO 27001, SOC, NIST, and audit documentation
- Develop technical architecture documentation
- Create executive and board-facing documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in technical writing within information security or IT environments
- Experience with Information Security, Technical Program Documentation, Compliance Documentation, and Process Documentation
- A passion for making complex technical and security concepts easy to understand
- Ability to interview subject-matter experts and translate technical detail into polished, audit-ready documentation
- Strong attention to clarity, accuracy, and consistency across every document
- Willingness to work across multiple documentation standards and client templates
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—this is a client-facing role involving frequent interaction via email, calls, and meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in English, Technical Communication, Information Security, or a related field
- Ability to support multiple concurrent documentation projects across different clients

Pay
Pay Range: $50 – $65 USD (for jobs in the US).
