About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team at MM Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for custom-designed products and test system solutions. Your work will include developing user manuals, service guides, hardware and software installation instructions, and programming manuals that adhere to our quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will contribute to creating marketing materials such as Visio diagrams, product data sheets, and conceptual guides to showcase our engineering expertise. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and accessible documents, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, with 4-5 years of relevant experience in technical documentation preferred. Familiarity with the AS9100D standard and experience working within highly regulated environments is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio, and Access Database, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to re-cast technical information into task-oriented procedures. Strong planning skills and the ability to adapt to evolving product designs are necessary for success in this role. Experience with proposal generation, technical editing for DoD and commercial contracts, and working knowledge of system logs and manuals are also advantageous. Responsibilities Prepare clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation and manuals in accordance with Keysight standards, ensuring all safety information is current and included in customer-facing guides.Create and update various technical documents, including user manuals, maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering specifications, maintaining version control for frequent revisions.Shadow technical teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of products and solutions, developing visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and schematics to enhance documentation clarity.Develop proposal generation materials, including Visio diagrams, product data sheets, and conceptual guides, to support business development efforts.Review and edit proposal documents to meet DoD and commercial standards, ensuring compliance with specific contractual requirements.Document testing procedures, laboratory equipment, and specifications, translating manufacturing information from ISOWs, ATPs, and other technical sources into user manuals.Maintain accurate system logs and manuals to document testing and operational procedures for internal manufacturing teams.Collaborate effectively with team members and clients, demonstrating our core values of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Perform other duties as assigned to support the engineering and documentation teams.
