Technical Writer

About the role

Technical Writer responsible for creating, developing, formatting, and managing technical documentation, including manuals, testing procedures, and operational specifications for hardware and software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop structured content for end-user guides, online help, and quick reference materials in multiple languages
• Manage translation processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information
• Ensure documentation quality through usability testing and feedback
• Update legacy documents and prepare final deliverables for print and online media

Qualifications & Skills

• BA/BS in Technical Communication, Science, or related field with extensive experience or equivalent in technical publication
• Proficiency in DITA/XML, content management, and translation systems
• Skilled in desktop publishing, illustration, and disassembly/reassembly of instruments
• Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Illustrator and SolidWorks is a plus
