Technical Writer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop training programs and instructional materials for company processes and procedures
• Create detailed Visio process maps to accompany procedural documentation
• Conduct quality control of produced work by program writers to ensure style guide adherence
• Manage a team of writers, edit team member documentation, and provide feedback and guidance on documentation standards
• Develop and implement organizational document management standards and activities
• Knowledge of ISO:20000 and ISO:27001 certification, ITIL Certification
• Create and maintain quarterly reports and accomplishments
• Manage system diagram/run book documentation refresh effort and ongoing maintenance

Qualifications

• Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree Required, 2+ years project experience, 1+ years PM experience with a federal agency or federal contractor, 3+ years Information Technology Experience
• Citizenship Status: Required: US Citizenship
• Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position
