Technical Writer

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to support our WTP/WTCC Project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for written, visual, and digital information dissemination to internal and external audiences.
• Focus on activities related to graphic design, marketing, branding, communications, social media, and other related job functions.
• Support transition to operating contractor.
• Revise procedures and programs to support transition efforts.
• Prepare written material for publication.
• Write, rewrite and/or edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures.
• May write or rewrite columns, articles, and stories according to requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Direct experience with WTCC systems and programs is preferred.
• Ability to pass and maintain a security clearance may be required.
• Position may require travel.

Skills

• Ability to conceptualize, format, structure, write, edit and finalize technical manuals, orders, specifications, modification work orders, and test plans, procedures and results.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.
• Organization skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
