About the role

A technical writer is needed to produce clear and concise documentation for software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating user manuals, API guides, and other technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed user manuals and API guides for software products.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product features and functionality.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects the latest product releases.
• Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity and readability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical writing or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and product management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Experience with technical documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, or similar.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for web-based documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Skills

• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility standards.

Pay
