Technical Writer 2

About the role

The Tech Writer will join a worldwide engineering, operations, and tech-refresh contract supporting Enterprise IT (EIT) capabilities and functions for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The team is responsible for operations, future technologies, engineering, Tier 2/3 support, break/fix, and tech-refresh activities to develop and maintain agency-wide capabilities on a global basis.

Responsibilities

• Distill complex information into clear, concise text.
• Design and deliver developer-oriented documentation.
• Work directly with development teams.
• Develop base templates and manipulate output styles using multiple tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 7 years of experience (or equivalent).
• Minimum of five years in a technical or lead writing role.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills with the ability to work independently and deliver accurate content under deadline pressure.
• Thorough understanding of software development, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other key terminology relevant to this contract.
