Technical Training Instructor

About the role

hackajob is collaborating with Emerson to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. Based in Marshalltown, IA location, you will provide in-person factory based training, at Impact Partner offices or customer sites. The Instructor will also be delivering trainings both virtually/remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers
• Contribute and collaborate with partners on improving course curriculum, student materials, and hands-on workshops
• Aid in the preparation of all necessary instructional materials and equipment for classes
• Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain a high degree of technical expertise on assigned topics, product offerings, and related process control equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to people with varied roles and experience levels
• Previous experience with adult technical learning
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in team and highly autonomous settings
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability and willingness to travel in North America, up to 50%
