Technical Training Instructor

About the role

If you are an Technical Training Instructor professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Marshalltown, IA location, you will provide in-person factory based training, at Impact Partner offices or customer sites. The Instructor will also be delivering trainings both virtually/remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers
• Contribute and collaborate with partners on improving course curriculum, student materials, and hands-on workshops
• Aid in the preparation of all necessary instructional materials and equipment for classes
• Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain a high degree of technical expertise on assigned topics, product offerings, and related process control equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to people with varied roles and experience levels
• Previous experience with adult technical learning
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in team and highly autonomous settings
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability and willingness to travel in North America, up to 50%
