Responsibilities

  • Solve complex installation, configuration, and data exploration requests for New Relic customers.
  • Advocate for our customers to our Product Organization by providing feedback on feature requests and bugs to improve the customer experience.
  • Contribute to both internal and customer-facing documentation and Knowledge Centered Support (KCS).
  • Collaborate with fellow Support Engineers to creatively and passionately seek customer problems, while honing your technical skills.
  • Identify and suggest solutions for recurring or systemic problems related to Java, .Net, Node, Python, GO, PHP, and Ruby.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in troubleshooting programming languages and network essentials.
  • Familiar with AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and/or testing applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Well-developed troubleshooting skills and ability to get creative when the answer is not obvious.
  • High level of empathy and ability to work with customers even when they are having a bad day.
  • Passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others.

Qualifications

  • Java, .Net, Node, Python, GO, PHP.
  • Open Telemetry, Distributed Tracing.
  • AWS, Azure Cloud Certification.
  • Experience with observability tools like New Relic's platform, Logstash, Elastic, AWS Lambda, or Azure Functions.

Schedule

This opening is for a position working day shift hours of 8am-5pm PT Mon-Fri. You may be located in ET, CT, MT or PT time zones and committed to working PT hours. Working occasional weekend days or holidays may be required on an as-needed basis.
