Java Support Engineer

Skills

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Java/J2EE, EJBs, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful services, JMS
• Interfacing with Kafka and Elasticsearch
• Expertise in React JS framework to develop single-page applications (SPA)
• Willingness to work in a support project and collaborate closely with business teams to identify solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios
• Flexibility with work hours, including weekend production support as needed
• Strong coding skills to clear technical coding challenges

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment
• Work with a team to build smart and scalable solutions, ensuring a solid user experience
• Identify and systematically address performance issues
• Create end-to-end architecture and deployment strategies
• Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to deliver solutions to customers
• Take end-to-end delivery ownership
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Apply Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Create automated unit tests for both existing and new projects
