About the role

The Technical Sales Specialist (BioAnalytics) will promote Sartorius's products and services within a defined territory, focusing on mid-size and large accounts. Key responsibilities include using Salesforce to manage sales activities and customer interactions, identifying new business opportunities, analyzing customer needs, and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Sartorius's products and services within an assigned geographic area
  • Sell into Pharma and/or Biotech spaces to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Analyze SFDC data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance
  • Drive the launch of new products and services into the marketplace and follow up on successful implementations
  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Create and implement account plans and coordinate resources in line with the plans
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance market perception and develop successful strategies
  • Travel frequently to meet with customers and partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering (higher level of education would be beneficial)
  • 3+ years field sales experience, selling into Pharma and/or Biotech space
  • Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proven software skills, e.g., Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (SFDC preferred)
