Responsibilities

  • Possessing the ability to prospect for new business in a defined territory through networking, scheduling appointments, conducting lunch and learns, and other sales generating activities.
  • Developing an annual forecast for the assigned territory and executing a sales plan to effectively meet or exceed goals for market share growth, topline revenue, and new customers.
  • Acting as a Trusted Advisor for both new and existing VEGA clients to ensure they receive platinum service.
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships with key customer personnel and VEGA sales and technical personnel to facilitate a team-selling approach and enhance the sales position.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in industrial automation or instrumentation.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation.
