The Opportunity
We're opening a Technical Sales Representative role designed for a hungry, coachable go-getter ready to make their mark in a specialized niche. This is a full-cycle sales role — you will hunt, qualify, build relationships, and close contracts. Once a contract is signed, our internal delivery team takes over to place the right people on the engagement. Your job is to win the business and keep the relationship strong.
- Think of the best qualities of a top travel nurse recruiter or pharma territory rep — relentless follow-through, high activity volume, zero quit mentality — combined with the consultative polish of an account manager who earns trust in a complex, regulated industry.
Compensation
This is a pure commission role. No base salary. No cap. Your compensation is based on booked revenue you generate. The more you build, the more you earn. Top performers in our industry earn six-figure incomes.
What You’ll Do
- Hunting & Full-Cycle Sales (Primary Focus)
- Execute high-volume, targeted outreach to engineering, quality, and operations leaders at pharma, biotech, and animal health manufacturers.
- Use LinkedIn, HubSpot, email sequences, and phone to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Identify net-new contacts and accounts aligned to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Own the full sales process from first conversation through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
- Attend industry trade shows and conferences to generate leads and represent the GMP Pros brand.
- Transition signed contracts to our internal delivery and staffing team with a clean, thorough handoff.
- Account Management & Relationship Nurturing (Secondary Focus)
- Stay connected with warm contacts and existing clients to identify expansion opportunities and referrals.
- Serve as a trusted touchpoint for accounts between active engagements.
- Cook up closely with our Engineering Ops team to ensure a smooth client experience after deals are won.
- Keep meticulous records of all outreach, conversations, and pipeline activity in HubSpot.
- Market Intelligence
- Stay current on trends in pharma manufacturing, MES/eBR adoption, and regulatory drivers that create demand for our services.
- Share intel from the field to inform messaging, positioning, and targeting strategy.
Who You Are
- Relentlessly hungry. You don’t wait for leads — you go find them. You follow up five times without being asked. A closer. You don’t just open doors — you walk all the way through them. You own deals from first call to signed contract.
- Relationship-obsessed. You build genuine rapport fast. People remember you and take your calls.
- High accountability by nature. You hold yourself to a standard before anyone else has to. You track your numbers, know your pipeline, and don’t make excuses.
- Disciplined and organized. You log your activity, protect your pipeline, and stay on top of every conversation.
- Resilient under rejection. You treat a 'not now' as a future opportunity, not a closed door.
- Coachable and curious. You want to learn this industry, absorb our playbook, and apply it consistently.

The following backgrounds translate well into this role: Travel nurse, healthcare, or medical device recruiting — you know how to work a phone and build a book of business Pharmaceutical or biotech account management, inside sales, or territory rep experience B2B sales or business development in professional services, staffing, or consulting Experience in life sciences, engineering, or regulated manufacturing (a significant plus, not ) Minimum Requirements 1+ years of outbound sales, account management, or business development experience Bachelor’s degree preferred — life sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field is a strong plus; other degrees considered Comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and LinkedIn for prospecting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-directed — you thrive in a high-accountability environment without needing to be managed Able to travel occasionally to client sites and industry events as needed
